When I go to profile in the user control panel, the page comes up with a not found message. This is stopping me from changing my password.
Please advise.
Bill

Bill-
The "Profile" page has not worked for some time. Some of us lost our avatars or had them distorted with the most recent "lost" years dump. I'm not sure who could repair this. Any help out there?

Roy

The profile page did not work for quite a while. It finally got fixed mid year 2019 or so IIRC. Then the site crash hit us. When they restored the site the 2nd time, it went back to not working again. I think Dave Hempy fixed it the last time.

I'm having the same problem with the 500 error on the profile page. There should be an error log on the server for ucp.php that would show a php compile error which should narrow down what the problem is. It looks like other people in the past had this issue with a character missing in the backup - https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2356991

I've pinged a few times about it, nothing substantial/no response.
I'm beginning to think this whole place is on life support...

Just curious, but who runs the site?

I'm on a generic reset password which I have to lookup in my email every time I get logged out.

Don't loose that password!!!!!!

I don't think anyone "runs" the site, I think it pretty much runs itself.

I think Hempy is a responsible party but not sure of his knowledge level, I think the hosting account belongs to someone else who started it long ago but has moved on.

There are some other irregularities with the software, you may notice that the software ID is cut off at the bottom of the page, there is something fishy there.

My all time favorite forum!!!!!!

Agreed with being the most fun, most smart forum on automotives for my tastes.

And also agreed I am on an autogenerated password I have to look up or reset occasionally.
