I'd look for a T5, bell, and fork from an 87-93 mustang 2.3l. The input shaft is longer than on the 5.0l v8 version. Many have used the 2.3 version behind v8s. The difference in length can cause problems with the v8 thrust bearings but using the v8 version behind the four should not be an issue.
There were the mustang 2 traditional 4 spds as well as an aluminum 4 spd (SROD if memory serves) to about 83 in the fox bodied mustangs.
I'd second this though my understanding though is the V8 gearboxes have a larger diameter/different spline input shaft that doesn't directly work with the 2.3L. There are aftermarket solutions for that from what I saw with a quick search.
