Doh! I saw that earlier but it didn't register for some reason. Sorry for wasting bandwidth--not that this message is an improvement, aargh, when will it ever end...
As I may have mentioned, that's quite a car you've got there. Next time I'm down south in MAX, maybe we could trade rides pleasepleaseplease? You could let your wife drive MAX before she drives yours, she won't get in much trouble with 32 horsepower.

That car of yours is truly inspirational. The videos are great! That thing really moves . Just need a close up on the vapor to see the speed.
Have allot of fun with it . You deserve it!

I couldn't agree more. Rod has outdone himself on this build. Definitely something to be proud of.

Well, that means a lot coming from you two. I stole ideas from both your builds! Chet finishing his car really got me motivated. Someday I'll finish the fuel injection and make a hood. I'm really enjoying driving it right now, so I'm not in a hurry, but it won't really be done untill the 8 stack is on it!
Here is my next project, updating my 63 Nova SS. Its been off the road since 1988. I've been dragging it house to house for 20 years.
Its getting air conditioning, overdrive automatic, 3 link rear, custom front suspension, and coilovers all around. Then my wife gets it for a daily driver. Roughly 400 Hp

lol. It didn't take you long to find a new project.
I'm the same way. I'm already thinking of things that I want to do after the Locost is done...

Drove from Visalia to Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park, my favorite road and very little traffic. I could have driven all day. Actually made it to the snow and received a slush shower from my front tires. Made me laugh, I was having so much fun I didn't think about it. Please excuse my editing skills, I'm still learning.

Thanks for taking the time to post the vids.
I love the sound of that thing. I am going the V-8 route myself.

I added adjustable lumbar to my seats from ButlerBuilt, about $40 per seat, works great. The seats really needed better lumbar support. The driver side is installed, you can see the inflation bulb at the base of the drivers seat. See all the pebbles in the seats?

Also made some floor mats from a Summit Racing truck bed mat. $50. I have enough left over to do my dune buggy and my truck tool box liner. It looks better in person. Really finishes the car.
I'm guessing I have about 1500 miles on the car so far.

Had my smog appointment today, very pleasant experience, took about 45 min. My wife surprised me with personal plates!
Went to the DMV and finished the registration, so I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely if we still did that sort of thing.

By far one of the sweetest builds I've seen. Congrats on getting through all of the "processes" Rod.
