You might want to include two very important points.

Asking price and location -------

It is unique because of the Alfa drive train. I chose this drivetrain because it is very light. As far as dependability goes it has been very dependable. It's easy to bash others build decisions out ignorance. I don't know what your build is, or if you have built anything, but I'm sure if I chose I could make smarmy remarks also. If you aren't interested in my car that is fine. But it is extremely rude to make negative remarks when you know absolutely nothing about my car.

I was simply poking fun at Alfa - not known for the most reliable cars.. at least around these parts. I like your car, it looks very well executed and I wish you the best of luck with your sale!

I asked why it was unique because I was wondering if the alfa transmission is the rear-mount IRS type - you don't specify.

Regarding drivetrain weight, what is the weight of the engine and transmission?

Not IRS type. I have to go back thru pictures but I'm petty sure I posted a pic of engine and transmission on scale. 375lbs

Not to hijack your ad, But I've got a complete Alfa Spider drive-train to build something similar with.
Also have a Singer (Upmarket Hillman) grill, Lotus 7 front fenders, Singer 9 (Contemporary of the MG TD) rear fenders and an MG TD fuel tank.

I've looked for but not found a detailed build thread for your car, particularly interested in your suspension design and how well it worked.
Any chance you have a log book laying around?

Hi Friend
Your mention of MG TD prompted me
to wipe tears of nostalgia.
It was my very first true sports car.
My Ukrainian peasant background lacks
eloquence , but can't a car built by
hand be known as "unique"?
Cheers
