For sale is my partially completed Mcsorley 442 locost project. The frame is about 80% done. It needs to be finish welded in some places and the rear of the frame completed. I ran out of space and time to work on it about 2 years ago and it has sat in the garage ever since. I don't really need to sell the project, but could use the space and room in my garage.
I am looking for $300 for the frame and all extra steel I have.
There is VERY VERY LIGHT surface rust on some pieces.

Hey Zac,
I also have this listed on nyspeed.com I am surprised this frame hasnt sold already actually. Would you like to take a look at it?
I'm interested. I'm going to pass along the link to my partner-in-crime (a professional welder) for his thoughts. Nothing personal but the quality of those welds is critical.
How much extra steel do you have? Enough to complete the chassis or just the 1" RHS?

I have enough steel to make a bunch of mistakes and still have enough to finish the frame. No offense taken on the welds, I feel the same way
We're trying to figure out which is going to be more work: cutting up and welding a frame from scratch or driving down and picking up your frame and trying to get it past Canadian Customs. As long as we can convince them that it is anything BUT a car frame we would be good to pay taxes/duty and move along, but if they realize that it is a chassis then I suspect that they will want a VIN and ownership and the whole nine yards. I need to look into this and see what the rules are around kit / homebuilt car components.

tell them it's the frame for a home made BBQ pit to smoke ribs in for your son's highschool graduation and a friend cut and tacked most of it b/c you were not capable.
