I just flew home from work for my two weeks off yesterday, knowing my luck it will show up the same day I head back to work. That's what happened with the last handgun I bought too, so my wife was sending me pictures to tease me.

Evening Gents!!!

Didn't get anything done on these at work today, but I was able to get a few ready last night and get them in the pipe!

In transit now are:

WaltJ
FieroRienke
Acerguy

If anyone sees these dangerous individuals, do not approach them. Simply start welding metal and they'll be mesmerized by the light and can be taken into custody quite easily after that!

Have a great night!

Good Morning All!!!

After checking the list this morning, which is getting rather short BTW... I believe that I am only left with a couple of names that have yet to check in.

With that in mind.... if you have paid but not seen your name on one of the outgoing notices... let me know and I'll confirm I got the payment and will get it out.

... if you sent a check, no worries, you're not on the remaining lists because you "checked in" (pun well thought and fully intended!) and no point in keeping you on the list!

... if you haven't paid in or checked in, in any way shape of form, your name should be below. If it's not, I promise that it's my mistake and I have plenty of Emblems left, so there is no worries, just get a hold of me and we'll clear it up.

So, the names yet to check in are:

ShadowCat38
MKEjim
blake17

As I have the time I will send all a friendly email/IM to keep the ball rolling. Once I got the system down, this turned into a pretty smooth affair. Thanks to RX7/Chuck for some helpful (and somewhat sneaky) shipping tips that not only saved us some $$, but made it way easier for me to label and ship all these!

You guys have been great through this. I've dealt with other group buys (buying) that have gone so sideways that in the end it was not worth it. Everyone has been telling me thanks, but you guys all deserve a piece of that pie too. Thank you for bearing with me, not annoying with endless drama and just overall being a great group of guys to work with on this!

Cheers to everyone!

I am shamed!

I want to shed my shame!

How should I shed my shame?

(I don't know how to pay for this. Can someone point me to the payment instructions? I couldn't find them.)

botbasher wrote:OK Guys and Gals... They all arrived safely with the materials I used (Thanks guys for reporting back for us!!), so I see no reason (other than for my sanity!) to not start the ball rolling! So without further delays.... Here's the instructions and the official kickoff!!

SNAIL MAIL (i.e. Check, Money Order, Bearer Bonds...) :

I realize there's a Snail Mail Minority... no issues, but if anyone wants to do this, just PM me and I'll give you all the info, rather than post my address here and end up with junk mail for years!!!

PayPal:

If you're choosing to pay via Paypal, please do a couple of things to use this method.
1: My account is my "forum_name"@gmail.com.
2: Send it as a gift. This saves us the % that Paypal wants and I don't go in the hole! $1.78x50 is a chunk of change!
3: Make sure to include your email, address and most importantly your forum user name IN THE NOTES!!!. It's really hard to tie real names to user names sometimes!
4: Watch your email for a response from me that I got it from you.

COSTS:

OK... Now for the important part!!! The $$$ We got the costs down to $14/ea, so the base costs is $14 x qty + shipping.

If you missed the post... I will be including one "7" Drop with every order. Everyone will get one.

US Shipments: I think can fit every shipment into the Large Flat Rate Envelope. The cost for shipping it this way anywhere in the US is $6.50 (Postage, Tape...)

So a Single "7" would be $14+$6.50=$20.50. Two would be $34.50. Three would be $48.50. If you added Cerakote (NGP & 300D50) add $10 to your total.

Canada Shipments: We're going to drop back and punt since the savings of having it trucked up and shipped within Canada were not worth the added worries and handling. USPS says that a Large International Flat Rate Envelope will be $23.95. These are the same as the US envelopes, so I can fit just about anything we're dealing with in them.

So a Single "7" would be $14+$24=$38. Two would be $52. Three would be $66.

FINAL REQUIREMENT:

Right now, 40 of you are hitting "Send Money" on your Paypal account, but PLEASE have patience. I'm not Amazon.... I have a day job... I am still waiting for USPS to send me envelopes.

I will get these processed as fast as I can. I will put your email into the USPS info, so you should get updates when I drop it off and as it travels, so you'll know as much as I do on it. You guys have been awesome so far and we'll get this, the Greatest Group Buy EVER!!!, wrapped up so you guys attending the Gathering should have something sexy to take pics of!! OK, but it will be cool to see them on cars!!

So now... You guys go ahead and hit "SEND" and I'll back to studding these up for all you guys!!

Cheers!

KS
Here you go Dave!!

No shame at all.... Nice to get to a point in all this where I can ping people individually and say Hey!

Half of this is keeping me out of the shame column as well. I am sure by the end of it all I will have taken someones $$ and not shipped them a goodie!! You're still on the list Rob7!!! That is my ultimate fear!!! :BH:

Heck... as many notifications as there were about this thread, I nearly turned them off myself were it not for my being the important person in this!!! :ack:

Thanks, BotBasher.

Just to clarify - is the paypal destination really:

1: My account is my "forum_name"@gmail.com.

Like with quotes and stuff? Or does that mean swap in locostusa in front of the @ sign? Or 'botbasher'? I want to be sure to send my money to the right Nigerian Prince, after all.

And most of all, THANK YOU for doing this, BotBasher! I can tell it is a LOT of work, and I'm sure you're not making a nickel off the whole affair. I can't wait to dress up my nose cone!

(Does this grill insert count as nose candy?)

Dave, Just replace the "forum_name" (including quotes), with botbasher (no quotes)

I just like the smell. Oops, that's not right either. And Dave, I found out there isn't a Nigerian prince, or anyone else for that matter, with the PayPal account bot_basher, so when I made that mistake I was able to reverse it before anyone could sign up with that account name and send it to the right place.
